All About Photoshop Deep Etching Service

Deep-etching has a unique feature that lets a person remove a section of an image from its background. It allows a person to utilize the selected section for a different purpose, such as for a different image background.  One of the best tools that offer to Deep-etch an image is the famous Photoshop. Photoshop has allowed me to utilize the feature with ease-of-use. It is sometimes frustrating to spend many hours on doing clipping path. Photoshop has saved those many hours to just a few minutes to an hour. It will be easy to master the feature with Photoshop once you have utilized the tool for about three to four times. If you have mastered it, your ideas will flow like a flood.

There are three main methods of Deep-etching in Photoshop:

Method 1: 

One of the easiest ways is to utilize the eraser tool to erase some sections of an image. The main disadvantage of this method is that it is not a precise method of becoming professional. It will result as jagged lines, which will show the disarrangement of the image. The maximum hours to complete an image with the erasing tool are five to six hours with special care of the edged of the image.

Method 2:Another way is to utilize the Color Selection option to select specific areas of the image to be deleted. This method is for experts only because it requires you to know what you are doing. Some people will just delete too much or delete too little based on scarce experience with pixels.

Method 3: In Photoshop, the Pen Tool allows one to deep-etch the section of an image. This method is one of the most accurate methods to utilize to be professional. In this method, you will not lose any details the original picture contained during the process. You will also have a full control during the process. Once the image is created, no one will ever notice that it has been edited. However, this method requires a lot of practice to master it.

·         Step 1: The Start

On Photoshop, select the pen tool. Click where you want the border to appear.

·         Step 2: Additional points along the edge

Click on a different part of the image to fabricate a second point. Drag your mouse the way you decide. You will see that you have now fabricated two handles with a line that connect to the next point of interest. Drag your mouse around the edge of the image.

·         Step 3: Fine tuning the edge

Zoom quite close to your edge so you can view your individual points. With the Direct Selection tool, click on the points you want to edit. You will see that the handles appeared. As you select one of the handle ‘knobs’ you can drag them around the edge until the line edges the image. Continue to work around your image, adding points and rearranging the edge as you wish.  This step is the most exhausted step you will encounter during the clipping path.

·         Step 4: Delete the bits you want

The most fun part is deleting the unwanted bits. You will make your picture perfect with precise edges. Save your outline by clicking Shape Layer on the Paths tab. You will have to choose a name for your pet. Use the ‘Load path as selection’ to convert your path outline into a selection. On the top gray bar, go to select ‘Inverse Selection’ to change the outline from the bit you wish for the background you wish to be deleted. Now simply press ‘delete’ and here you have your deep-etched image.
